Start with another tap.
Most NFC issues resolve by changing the phone’s position or trying again with the screen awake.
Tap is not detected
- Wake and unlock your iPhone.
- Hold the top edge of the phone close to the center of your Curb.
- Keep it still briefly, then tap the notification that appears.
- Remove a thick or metal phone case and try again.
The link opens in a browser
Confirm that Curb is installed, then scan again from outside the browser. If the issue continues, restart the phone. Reinstalling the app can refresh Apple’s universal-link association.
Use the QR fallback
Scan the QR code under the object with the Camera app. NFC and QR perform the same product action.
Apps do not change
Open Curb and follow the Screen Time permission recovery shown in the app. Apple’s Screen Time permission must remain enabled for Curb to apply your selected apps and websites.
Include with a support request
Tell us your iPhone model, iOS version, Curb app version, and what appeared after the tap. Do not send the names of apps or websites you selected.
